If you are stuck at a desk with strict IT security and need a discreet way to pass the time, I have something for you.

My co-developer and I built Excel Escape, a complete psychological thriller and puzzle game that runs entirely inside a standard Microsoft Excel file. We created this specifically for office workers who want a deep, immersive puzzle experience but cannot install outside software or visit gaming websites.

Here is what makes it unique:

Zero Installation: If you have Excel, you can play the game immediately.

The "Emergency" Button: We programmed a dedicated Boss Key. If a manager walks by, one click instantly hides the game and brings up a blank, customizable spreadsheet.

Classic Escape Mechanics: You can explore rooms, collect and combine items, and solve complex logic puzzles right within the cell grid.

Kickstarter Launching in September! We are taking this project to Kickstarter next month. Because this is a 100% digital project that is already fully scoped, our delivery date is strictly locked in for November 11, 2026. You will not be stuck waiting years for fulfillment.

Play the Free Demo Today We have a free playable demo ready right now. I would love for you to download it, try it out at your desk, and see if you can solve the first room!
