Dose increase dizziness
First I’m grateful for this sub as I just started Zoloft two weeks ago and I have had a lot of anxiety about starting a med that doesn’t really improve things for almost 2 months minimum and this sub has helped calm some of that and give me hope.
That being said today I increased from 25 to 50mg. I take it at night because in the AM I tend to have no appetite and have read that taking it with food helps with digestive issues and so I have been managing that well (I have digestive issues as is so honestly no change regardless). Today’s increase drastically changed the situation into no longer being concerned about shitting myself and now being concerned about falling or passing out (while working in bedside nursing mind you). I’ve felt kinda off the past two weeks but it just felt maybe a little muffled in my head which was alright because less room for anxious thoughts but WOW today I felt genuinely stupid braindead and so so so fucking dizzy. My eyes couldn’t focus and I felt unsteady and I was feeling pressure in my head. This of course leads to panic and then a full blown freak out in tears at work because I am scared, frusturated, uncomfortable, and felt like my job was at risk (it isn’t) I went home from work for the first time and it really increased that anxiety due to guilt of leaving my co workers one less person.
I started this med because I am always scared or guilty feeling for seemingly no traceable reason except long term abuse and the resulting CPTSD. Of course now I’m scared and guilty because of the med instead. Ugh. Idk, advice is welcome, success stories would help, and honesty would be appreciated.
Thank you guys, happy healing.
