Titan in Sol?

So, I’m just getting back into the game after a few years off. What’s up with the Titan in Sol system and how has the Federation not taken it out yet? That seems like a thing Felicia or Jerome would be on top of. Am I missing something? Never fought a Thargoid so please forgive any ignorance.
