Crowd level during august fridays for NJ?

Me and my friends wanna go to great adventure in august on a friday in nj but we are debating on buying fast lane ultimates. i'm worried about the crowds since school will be starting later this year. Is it usually bad enough in august that the fast pass ultimate would be worth it?
