Passport renewal Time Line

I ment to post this awhile ago since I got it 7/16

Sent in my Form, check, and passport 6/26

Please for your sanity do not do what I did and just put it in a regular envelope and stamp. Get the one with tracking so you can know where your documents are. I didn’t know this and I have a trip at the end of this month so anxiety was through the roof. I was ready to make the drive to Cali for a passport.

7/13 The DOS received check and the renewal application. I called the passport center to expedite my passport processing and paid $60 extra to be safe.

7/14 I get a tracking and delivery for 7/16

Tips: Just make sure to never do regular envelope and stamp like I did I will make sure to do tracking. I really wish I could’ve done online renewal but within time Frame and I guess when my old passport was issued the option was not available for me.
