Introduction: Back in the Heian era the great onmyodo Abe No Seimei had an innate technique similar in nature to geto’s cursed spirit manipulation. He managed to refine his technique so that the spirits under his capture  are turned into shikigamis tied to specific effigies, making them summonable by his allies as personal guardians. After his passing these effigies are spread across Japan and gradually regathered by jujutsu society to be given into notable personnel. Because they were initially cursed spirits they have their own pool of ce that can be refilled. Making them less reliant on  their summoner’s ce pool. However Once they have taken fatal damage they’ll return to their effigy form and impose a constant ce drain on their user to reform their bodies. If the effigy is destroyed while the shikigami is alive they’ll return to a wild cursed spirit. If its destroyed in their unsummoned post death state they’ll be permanently dead.

Komainu: 2 komainu shikigamis, their effigies are small komainu statues. one with an open mouth and the other  has its mouth closed, once summoned the former can project  ce infused sounds from its mouth for loud blast, echolocation etc, with the volume of sound being influenced by the ce amount poured in. while the latter can absorb all sounds in a certain range, nullifying them (like Rocinante in one piece) both range and the amount of sound absorbed depends on ce amount, if the volume is too high the sounds would just be reduced rather than  nullified, due to their conflicting abilities the user must be intelligent in utilizing them, the two spirits also have good martial skill, the open mouth being more focused on offense while the closed mouth being more focused on defense. grade 2 each grade 1 if fighting synergized. Personality wise theyre two loyal dogs

Basan: a chicken like shikigami with a single blue feather as its effigy. it can breathe small stream of blue fire from its mouth, like a big lighter or a mini flamethrower. this fire deals no damage, instead it burns through the ce of the enemy like fire burns through oil. Quickly turning into a blue conflagration once it hits and eating away at the target’s reserves, enemy sorcerers can negate this by turning off their reinforcement and dissipating their ce, making the fire fade but the sorcerer vulnerable to attacks, curses cant do this, instead they can mutilate their affected part and regen it back with their ce. It can also  scout and look for danger, but it has low martial skill. Grade 3 in combat power without fire. It acts like a chicken with a bit of a curious nature

Kappa: a kappa shikigami with a bowl filled with water on top of its head, its effigy is a waterskin. To summon it you need to fill it with water and then the water will move towards the kappa’s bowl as its summoned. Its ability is converting  oxygen and hydrogen using  ce into water, due to having an initial ingredient its water creation abilities is rather high, being able to create fullbody water coat for defense, blasts of high pressure water, covering the ground in water to increase its own speed while making enemies unstable and many others applications, however its main weakness is that the water volume on its bowl determines its reserves and output, if its gets unbalanced and water spills out it would grow weaker and must gather natural water not created from its ct to restore its strength, if all the water is pured out it becomes inert. The kappa also has high martial skill and fight with a sumo fighting style. Grade in combat power 1 with full water on bowl. It has similar intelligence as a human with a cocky personality and likes to play around and show off against enemies its thinks as weaker. It can speak

Inugami: a serpentine ghostlike shikigami that ends in a black dog head, its effigy is a stone replica of the head tied to a necklace. its long body makes it very maneuverable, evading attacks and wrapping itself in others, in which its special ability manifest, its defense stat is raised if cloaking someone(similar to the usj nomu’s shock absorbtion) making the target not  damaged as inugami take the burden, the defense increases depending on how many people its protecting, though higher defensives values are harder for it and the user to [maintain.it](http://maintain.it) can also increase its length from 1 meter to 20 meters and anything in between. Its also good for tracking. combat power wise it would be grade 2 if not defending anybody. Its mostly silent and obeys the user, but it gives a sense of grudge, however as the number of people it protects and the number of damage it gets increases it will become more agreesive even attacking its allies in the middle of a fight.

Kudagitsune: this efiigy is  a bamboo pipe, by channeling ce into it the user can summon floating  fox shikigamis  that have a set lifespan, the more ce put into the summoning attempt the longer lifespan it has, though its usually just a couple minutes, with like 5 minutes being the max amount. as they exist they will  gradually degrade into smoke, the speed becoming faster the shorter the lifespan. this dual nature makes it very malleable, the user can do stuff like have their lifespan set at one minute to summon scouts and spies, or set their lifespan to just one second to make an instant smokescreen, when they die, the user receives all their memories(kinda like kagebunshin in naruto) Due to their more complex nature the user has a lower ceiling on the summon amount, unlike say rabbit escape that can easily number in the hundreds or thousands there can only be a couple dozen of them at the same time. Individually theyre grade 4. Theyre playful and fun seeking. Wanting to make most of their limited time.

Baku: the effigy is a kettle, by channeling ce into it the shikigami would appear from smoke before solidifying. This shikigami is  a tapir sized baku with its most notable trait is  its trunk, it can suck out negativity. By using its trunk it can suck out the negative thoughts people have. This can be used for many things, calming allies, increasing confidence, and even making enemies reckless due to the negative thoughts of worry and caution being eaten. For rookie enemies this can also disturb their ce flow but more experienced enemies can make their ce flow without relying on negativity. As the baku eats more negativity it also becomes physically stronger, it starts out  Malayan tapir sized but can grow into as big as a pygmy elephant. Due to having a fuel source the ce cost increase isn’t that steep. Grade 2 combat wise in early form grade 1 when full of negative emotions. Its initially curious and goofy, but as it eats negativity  it become reckless and cause collateral damage

Raiju:  the effigy is a taxidermized Japanese wold that summons A shikigami vaguely carnivoran in appearance the size of a wolf, its ability is to generate lightning, it initially only fights with its physicality, as it fights electricity begins to build up in its body, increasing its strength and speed as well as giving its attacks a shocking effect, its power increases exponentially until it hits full charge. As its base its only around grade 2 but at full charge its easily grade 1, though as the charge increases the ce cost  of maintaining it also increases. It can partially release its gained charge as blasts of electricity  that stuns and moderately damages many targets in an area. Lowering its power and maintenance cost afterwards. It acts like a fierce beasts that often disobeys order. But if it deems the summoner strong it would be a valuable companion.

The user can impose a binding vow called the “glimpse of raijin” that makes the electric charge unable to be used unless it hits full charge. In exchange the ceiling of the charge is raised by 50%(increasing power but making the time needed longer) and the nature of the electricity is refined. Once it hits full charge it enters a form where its fur turns gold and its shrouded in electricity, the visage of a divine beast. This state last for 80 seconds in which the combat power of the raiju is equal to a special grade, magnificicent speed and attack as well as strikes that paralyze weaker foes. It can also unleash a powerful blast of  true lightning that can shatter stone,  each of this attack reduces the timer  by 10 seconds. This binding vow is toggleable.

Semi: the effigy is a taxidermied cicada, when fueled with ce it becomes alive and starts to fly around and making sounds. If it makes contact with the user or an ally it will read their “self” and begins shedding its skin, while this happens  the user cannot move. after 108 seconds it will have a cicada shell that stores the target’s state, like health and ce levels, the shell can be put into a safe location and then the  target can use it with a handsign to teleport back to the shell’s location with their bodies being restored to the stored state  the shikigami will deactivate and unable to be used for 24 hours after this. The shell disappears after 24 hours can be destroyed if found by an enemy.

Yatagarasu: its effigy is a large bronze mirror, from which the large 3 legged crow will appear, its main ability is clairvoyance. Once the user has thought of a specific location, no matter how vague, the bird will stop moving and begin divining,  the length is determined on the exactness of the user’s request. Once it ends the bird will know the exact location and begin to fly towards it, beckoning the user to follow it to reach their destination. Though its size and conspicuous  appearance can make the user’s approach too obvious. The user can also sees through the crow’s eye using the mirror. Making it  good for scouting. Personality wise it has a calm vibe and rarely interacts unless needed

Ame no fuchikoma: this shikigami is heavily modified from the original cursed spirit abe no seimei captured, in his attempt to make a cursed spirit capable of rct. The effigy  is the flayed skin of a horse’s head, when first summoned the shikigami itself is a skinless horse cloaked in storm clouds that slowly covers the area representing the concept of descreration. The horse will rage wildly attacking everyone ally or enemy, its physical capabilities are around grade 1, however the storm clouds around it makes it able to fly and blow others away with its kicks, its clouds  also increases the level of ce instability for every one around it, replenishing levels and increasing output but heavily decreasing control and efficiency, this effect is more damaging for sorcerers rather than cursed spirits. If the user manages to put the effigy into the shikigami’s head it will transform into a divine piebald horse, the nature is inverted and it becomes a calm horse and have the ability  to emit light that makes ce more stable, increasing the control and efficiency of those shined by the light, it can also emit focused light to blind enemies or light the  darkness. Once inverted it can be summoned in that forms until its killed, without the effigy needing to be worn then the user must do the binding ritual again.

Satori: the effigy is a small statue made out of monkey, it’s a shikigami of a human sized macaque yokai that can foretell thoughts. Not read, foretell. It can hear the thoughts people would have in a 10 second limit. Hearing it as overlapping voice compressed to a single moment, this makes it able to outpace enemies in combat by anticipating moves before they happen, this Is usually more useful against simple minded enemies or enemies who are trained in specific orthodox styles. Though because it only hears thought, stuff like environmental conditions, physical reflects and reaction speed is unaccounted, making this shikigami struggle against faster enemies or enemies that fight in a wild style, this shikigami can also assist in traning to make the user’s reaction speed quicker, personality wise it’s a mischevious monkey that likes messing around. Power wise its grade 2 without future vision.
