New to the Dew

I really want to love The Valley. Every time I launch it, I hope this is the moment it finally clicks for me. But after 20 minutes, I’m done, even with mods. It’s like the spark never turns into anything real.

My problem is that the world feels directionless. I wander around and nothing tells me where to go or what to chase. Maybe I’m not creative enough. Maybe I need a goal, a mission, something to pull me forward. Without that, everything starts to feel pointless, and I hate that feeling because I know the game means more to other people.

I respect it. I really do. Those first 20 minutes are cozy and peaceful. But after that, I feel like I’m not honoring the game for what it actually is. I’m just drifting.

So I’m trying something different. I’m hoping there’s something out there like a guide, a roadmap, anything that tells me what I should be doing from day one all the way to the end.
