RWD v8 in rain or snow

I keep hearing polar opposite takes some act like they pull over if its even light rain. Some drive in legit snow storms for daily drivers what is it actually like?

Its always hard to know people's perception. I live in Midwest drove a v6 3800 series grand prix for years got used to controlling it in deep snow never got fully stuck or slid into anything. Had fun punching gas getting myself unstuck when needed.

Also drove a 4 cylinder Fwd impala in similar storms which was horrible for various reasons but zero wrecks tows etc. What is it actually comparable to like worse than average low powered FWD ?
