How much do you have to job hop to make a good salary?

I just started as an ED nurse and several people I’ve talked to have said the only way to make good money in nursing is to job hop every few years. The thing is, I’m happy at the hospital I work at. I’ve been here for 3 years in various roles and I really don’t want to go anywhere else.

One nurse I talked to said she was making almost $60 an hour and that’s after job hopping 3-4 times. I just started out at $33. We get nearly raises but it’s only about a dollar if that.
