My friend is mad at me

So my friend who is a girl her name is Aubrey was claiming I released info about her crazy parents when I didn’t and it turns out it was my crazy ex who told Aubrey I gave her info about her parents and know she’s mad at me and is giving me dry responses i don’t want to lose her as a friend since were really close but I don’t know what to do because I tried to tell her that my ex was lying but she didn’t beleive me and isnt even trying to get any proof that I gave any info should I just cut Aubrey off? Like genuinly what do I do
