I'm not sure what my niche would be called

Hubs and I are looking for a new lighthearted show. It was the Night Court reboot, but season 2 they replace Neil and that hurts me for some reason. These aren't reviews they're what worked for me and what didn't, hopefully lending to better recommendations

Lighthearted shows we finished:
-Samurai Champloo, which actually is not light hearted, it's fucking Edo Japan but it can get a tepid chuckle from time to time
-Dan Da Dan, funny ensemble show once you get past the uncomfortable leering moments; again, some really dark fucking gut punches, but overall it has "woo! yeah!" moments where it feels good to see them win or come to some understanding
-American Vandal, true crime parody that does get pretty real in unexpected ways at times, but very farcical and absurd for the most part
-Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, a show about a stalker with BPD and suicidal tendencies but I swear it's lighthearted and funny
-The Good Place, no spoilers, but again, an ensemble tackling really hard hitting issues in a very fun and lighthearted way
-Frieren, a very serious adult show about out living your friends and finding meaning after the adventure is over, but also somehow super chill and cozy and being gentle with those topics and feelings while exploring them--S2 was kind of shit, but S1 was my everything
-Delicious in Dungeons; sure, 50% of it is Falin angst but it's like 50% them making food out of the monsters they kill; a sort of cozy riff on DnD
-One Piece, the live action, please please please don't suggest the anime
-Disenchantment; short lived, ending wasn't what I wanted, but an ensemble tackling, I think, gnosis in a very fun and lighthearted way
-Sakamoto Days; it's so, so dumb but also so, so adorable. Found family dramedy
-Way of the Househusband; Sakamoto Days feels like a rip off of this, and it really succeeds where that face plants in terms of a farce grounded in realism
-Ranma 1/2; the remake, not the original; couldn't get through the original because Happosai was so deeply upsetting to me
-A Man on the Inside, an ensemble tackling really hard hitting issues in a very fun and lighthearted way

Darker Shows we watched and I would watch again (just to hopefully paint a bigger picture):
-currently watching Interview with a Vampire, up to season 2. The next episode is Claudia's trial. I love the wit, I love the eldritch horror of it all, it's in the same ballpark of Trueblood and feels like its spiritual successor (also loved Trueblood, pretending the last season didn't happen)
-I will watch Breaking Bad over and over and over and over; Walter White IS NOT the hero, I don't like shows that apologize for the villain protagonist or yassify them like Dexter does (though I got through more of that than I like to admit), it's a show about inner alchemy and magic and how those awakenings aren't always nirvana and enlightenment, and those themes stuck for me even when I'm not high as balls. It's interesting from an esoteric perspective and I LIKE that it's so grounded in reality with its depiction; it's endearing from an ensemble perspective even though so much time is spent with Walter and Jesse
-The Amazing Digital Circus; didn't really stick the landing but I watch it over and over again; ensemble! Hard hitting issues! Hopeful!
