Which movies have protagonists that miraculously survive over and over only due to nothing but plot armor?

I have been fascinated in watching films that have protagonists or characters who try their best to fight or solve the precarious situations they are in. Those movies are a really fun watch because they don't make stupid mistakes or make dumb decisions just to further the plot. On the other hand, there are movies that have writing so baffling, that protagonists survive their circumstances even it doesn't make sense at all. It's fun to recall these types of masterpieces because no matter how diabolical the plot gets, they still live.
