Recommendations for native-level articles.

Discussion

Hi All!

Recently I have been reading more native-level Chinese articles for reading practice and to discover new words to study. Mostly I have been using the following sources:

  • The Wall Street Journal - Chinese Edition.
  • The New York Times - Chinese Edition.
  • BBC - Chinese Edition.

The issue that I'm running into is that a huge portion of the articles on these websites focus on: (1) politics, (2) AI, and (3) other "trending topics" and at this point I don't think I can stomach any more articles about NVIDIA's CAPEX.

Though I do come across the occasional interesting article on other more random topics (for example the WSJ had an article today about strategies to maximize time spent at Disney parks) there aren't enough of them to satisfy the volume of articles I would like to read daily.

So I'm wondering, does any one know of any good Chinese language sources that focus on wider topics? Some example topics could include:

  • The search for water on Jupiter's moons.
  • An optimal itinerary for a week in Bali.
  • Personality traits of Akita dogs.

Really I'm just looking for something akin to magazine articles in Chinese, but I'm not exactly sure where to look.

Thanks!
