Incense Makers, How do I take my recipes to the next level?

Hello friends, I have been making incense for 6 months and have some recipes nailed, but they are still very rustic. Do you have any tips for getting more professional style sticks? I would like to improve the texture of my sticks as well as the aroma.

In particular, I find that my cedar base incense lose their aroma faster than I would like.
