Criticism (Take it with a grain of salt)

Hi so first of all I'd like to establish two things.

1. I absolutely adore this Manwha, it's easily one of the betters ones and worth the recommendations than the slop people push and insist is peak. That said it's not a masterpiece or anything but that's fine!

2. I've only read up until season 1 (67 chapters i think hehe) So take my takes with a grain of salt.

Even though i love this manwha so much it's not without it's problems.

First of all i think it suffers from "over cuteness" or chibification. The problem started when hoya i think was her name was introduced? (The tigress basically).

Basically from that point on the manwha became too quirky and chibified. Don't get me wrong i love some fluff but as a reader it felt like it was being forced down my throat, it felt.. Empty i guess? I prefered the sparse but cute moments early on than being bombarded with it for every chapter it felt as if the stakes were low and none of them were taking it seriously.

A good example of fluff and funny moments done right is kim catching Dominique reenacting his "you'll be legends" speech to the nagas. It was random believable and funny

Second of all the other problem lies with this.. Early on the series was much more focused on the naga then it shifted to other humanoid creatures like vampires hybrids etcs, it's more of a personal nitpick than anything and i also hate the humanoidification of nagas as they level up like with quantas. I'd prefer if they stayed like cool snakes but cooler.

Three the Mc : So far he is average at best. He is cool badass and has some semblance of character he isn't particularly memorable or anything just a slightly better than average manwha mc. We don't know his fears or his likes and dislikes to a meaningful level, he's competent somewhat kind and scheming etc again standard manwha mc package. Also i literally forgot his name because nobody calls kim by his name either master or "you" lmao

The series has amazing potential world building creativity and amazing artstyle, i really hope my issues would be fixed in the second season. Even if it ISN'T I'll continue reading because i love it
