milk orchid by commodity round 2

i posted here a few weeks ago about how my full size bottle of milk orchid by commodity didn't smell the same as the sample i had. well a few weeks passed and i can finally say that it was my nose being whack asf.

i think there was some disconnect between my nose and the fragrance cuz i used to smell nothinggg. it was driving me crazy. now my bottle is finally smelling good and close to the sample i had.

i did a full wear test today. sprayed about 8-10 sprays. 4 around my neck and chest, and the rest on my shirt. i layed it with a bit of Land of Ahhs perfume oil in vanilla milk, just a few drops spread over my neck. i sprayed around 10am and i can confidently say it lasted til 10pm! its strong enough that i can still catch whiffs of it even though i sweated and did other shit all day. i walked through the hot ass weather, did chores around the house, and could still smell it on my clothes at least.

the scent dries to a beautiful nutty, floral milk. i can clearly smell the macadamia note which i love, and the beautiful sweet orchid/fig. im so glad i can smell it. i was literally debating if i should return it 😮‍💨 such an easy summer scent that pairs well with most of my other fragrances!

right now the scent it's fainter than when i first sprayed, obviously, but i realized i needed to manage expectations when it comes to perfumes and longevity. not everything performs like bianco latte LOL and thats okay. my family could smell me from arms length and the fact i can smell it 12 hours later says a lot! if i had sprayed it all over my body (arms, torso, back) i wouldve had better projection and longevity.

so far my rating is an 8.5/10 and is subject to change the longer i wear it. maybe the scent will develop stronger the longer i wear it? who knows 🤷‍♀️ this is def gonna be a summer staple along with JHAG vanilla vibes
