Savings

I have an IRA, an investment account and a savings account with one financial institution. I never check the balances and I tend of forget I have that money. There are a lot of life changes going on for me right now. They involve selling the house I’ve lived in the last 14 years and moving to a different state and getting a new job. All seems really daunting and scary, but I just checked the balance of the accounts and I have a lot of money. Obviously not enough to retire on but I am gonna be OK. I just wish I had friends I could share this information with because I really want to celebrate it with my loved ones. But I don’t know if they’d be happy for me or jealous so I have come to the Internet and hope some random strangers can celebrate with me this evening. I hope by you being happy for me, it will pay it back to you so that your accounts grow large.

Yes I understand taxes but the largest account is the savings. Still surprised what I put away every month.
