Posted on behalf of Corcel Exploration - Most readers skim an assay table for grade and width. But run down the "from" column of the Yuma King results and a different pattern stands out: every mineralized intercept reported so far from the 100%-owned copper-gold project in west-central Arizona begins within about 30 metres of surface. For Corcel, CRCL.c and CRLEF, that detail deserves its own writeup.

Quick stage note: this is exploration. No NI 43-101 resource exists, and undrilled targets are targets, not discoveries.

**The Depth Column**

* YK26-001: 56.65 m of 1.07% Cu, 0.79 g/t Au, 7.1 g/t Ag and 180 ppm Mo from just 3.35 m downhole (Jun 1, 2026 NR)
* YK26-002: 40.25 m of 0.52% Cu, 0.40 g/t Au, 4.49 g/t Ag and 85 ppm Mo from 30 m downhole (Jul 13, 2026 NR)
* YK26-003: 32 m of 0.17% Cu, 0.04 g/t Au, 2.47 g/t Ag and 25 ppm Mo from 25 m downhole, same release

Those three holes were spread well apart, too: YK26-002 sits 45 metres east of YK26-001, and YK26-003 sits 350 metres to its west, and together they grew known mineralized strike length by 350 metres, to approximately 900 metres. YK26-002 also carried a higher-grade core: 15.85 m of 0.70% Cu, 0.59 g/t Au, 8.1 g/t Ag and 152 ppm Mo from 54.4 m. Per the company, where exploration is led by VP Exploration Lee Beasley, drilling, geology, geophysics and geochemistry all indicate the system continues north and northwest under cover, toward the IP-defined North Skarn target. That target remains undrilled. The west step-out also lines up with similar-tenor 2011 historical hole AV-1 (27.4 m of 0.14% Cu, 0.08 g/t Au, 1.1 g/t Ag) roughly 400 metres north, which the company says may indicate a large footprint open in multiple directions.

**Shallow Up Top, First Look Below**
Starting that close to surface is part of why the entire six-hole Phase 1 program needed only 1,087 metres of drilling to test more than 500 metres of strike. Meanwhile, assays are still pending from three additional holes, and per Ward's June interview with Goldfinger Capital's Robert Sinn, the final two are the deepest yet drilled into the system, at 245 m and 275 m downhole, the first tests beneath the skarn into the targeted porphyry.

So everything reported to date comes from the shallowest part of a system that keeps extending laterally, and the first real look underneath it is already at the lab. There is room for this picture to grow in more than one direction.
