There is hope.
I suffered from skill decrease for a while. I had a stable 48-50 average at home and 44-46 in the pub a year ago. Then it suddenly decreased and it was around 44-46 at home and sometimes even down to 39... I tried everything, new darts, 23g, 25g, structured training, but it became quite clear it was rather in my head. So I stopped for a couple of weeks, started another hobby that I got hyper fixated on... But after around three months I got back into darts and the problems were gone. I just picked up any of my sets I liked visually. I threw just for fun some legs at home. And now after 4 weeks, I have again a stable 50 average at home, and yesterday in the pub sent my mate home 6:0 with 24,22,26,29,21 and 29 darts, with 6/12 on the doubles (best pub match of my life)
So if you ever suffer from something like Dartitis, for me it was just forgetting about darts for a while and then getting back in without pressure!⚔️💪
