on 20mg for 10+ years…

Hey! I don’t usually add my thoughts to the internet, but I need suggestions and advice! I am F 21, about to turn 22, and have been on 20mg of lexapro since i was 11. ( i also took 72mg of conserta ex, but now jornay pm 80mg).

I had tons of anxiety and severe depression in middle school, anxiety in high school, and had difficulty in uni when i wouldn’t take my meds….

I have a pretty active sex life, and my sex drive is still high, i just can never climax. It has caused issues with my partners in the past, and I’m debating if i should finally talk to my psychiatrist about it….

I feel like i could go down to a lower dose after all of these years, but im worried because i know it’s helped my anxiety for so long, but its caused so many other issues. I’m too nervous to ask my psychiatrist because i just switched to a new one, so i dont know them that well.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
