Confusion regarding teaching job and work permit

Hi I am an Indian girl and I have just completed my masters last year. I have no experience in teaching (yet) but I do have a Batchelors in Zoology with credits in Chemistry, a post primary teaching qualification and a masters in Clinical psychology. I wanted to register as a science teacher but the process is slow so I'm afraid I just missed the august hiring season.

I want to work as a SET teacher but I will be needing a work permit and a visa sponsorship. Do Irish schools typically sponsor work visas? What other options would I have? Do I even have a chance to get hired from India? :(
