Career Advice please

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some career guidance.

I graduated with a B.Com from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University in June 2026 and joined KPMG (BSR & Co. LLP) in Noida as an Audit ADC Analyst through campus placements. This is my first full-time job, and my current CTC is ₹3 LPA.

While I’m grateful for the opportunity, I’m not enjoying living in Noida and would prefer to build my career in Hyderabad, where I’d be much happier.

My current plan is to stay at KPMG for about one year, gain relevant experience, and then start applying for jobs in Hyderabad.

I have a few questions:

- Will 1 year of experience at KPMG improve my chances of getting a good job in Hyderabad?

- What kind of roles should I target with this experience (audit, internal audit, accounting, finance, consulting, etc.)?

- Is it better to start applying while still employed and resign only after getting an offer?

- If anyone has made a similar move from Noida (or another city) to Hyderabad after a year of experience, I'd love to hear about your experience.

TL;DR: B.Com graduate from Sri Venkateswara College, DU. Currently working as an Audit ADC Analyst at KPMG (BSR & Co. LLP) in Noida (₹3 LPA, first job). I don't like living in Noida and want to move to Hyderabad. If I work here for 1 year, will that KPMG experience help me get a job in Hyderabad? Looking for career advice.
