\"Move files between clouds without downloading\", through whose computer?
When a tool promises to move files between clouds "without downloading", it is worth reading the small print. The data still has to travel somewhere. For most of the services on the first page of results, that somewhere is their own servers. The files leave one cloud, pass through a company in the middle, and arrive at the other. You skipped your own download by routing through a stranger's computer instead.
There is a quieter version where the only computer in the path is yours. Blober streams from the source, through your machine, to the destination. The bytes pass through, but no second full copy is parked on your disk, so you are not left cleaning up a giant local folder afterward. Since it is not a relay, no company server sits in the middle decrypting and re-sending your files, and the traffic uses your own IP rather than a shared relay address that a provider might throttle for everyone at once.
I will be honest about what it is. This is download-and-upload, just automated, parallelized, and resumable. It is not teleportation. The difference that matters is who the middle computer belongs to.
