How to find community where there is none?

I live in an area that is predominantly conservative in the UK and I’m struggling to find anyone to talk to IRL. There is one trans group in the county I live in but they have stopped letting new people join so I’m not sure what to do.

I’ve had people tell me to just make a group but I’m worried that I don’t have the experience, or that people will reject me because I’m struggling to get on HRT and look masculine. Just looking for anything I can do to find other people who understan.
