Guide to Uber drop-off and pickup at Gillette Stadium for concerts
gillette stadium has a super strict setup for rideshares so drivers cant just pull up to any random gate along route 1.
all uber and lyft drop-offs and pickups are directed to lot 15, which is located right next to bass pro shops. if you look at a map of patriot place, it is on the side closest to the cvs health gate. from lot 15, you just follow the main pedestrian path right into the stadium plaza.
if you end up driving yourself instead or having a friend drop you off, you can also look into prked. it is an app where people rent out their driveways or private spots near the stadium, which is usually way cheaper than official lots and avoids the massive highway traffic gridlock when everyone leaves at once.
a couple of quick tips for ubering on concert day:
getting dropped off before the show is usually smooth, but route 1 gets backed up badly starting around 2 hours before concert time. tell your driver to stay in the right lane as you approach bass pro shops so they do not miss the turning lane into lot 15.
getting an uber AFTER the show is where people get stuck for hours. demand surge pricing gets crazy, and signal in lot 15 drops completely when 60000 people are trying to order rides at once. if you are using uber to leave, walk over toward patriot place restaurants to grab a bite while the initial rush clears out, or consider taking the mbta event train back to boston if tickets are still open.
hope this helps
