Help me. How can I maximize my MCAT score with one month left?
Does anyone have advice on how to study for the MCAT with only one month remaining?
Please excuse me if this sounds desperate, but this exam means a great deal to me. I became chronically ill near the beginning of undergrad, which made studying extremely difficult. For a long time, doctors and family did not believe me or provide much help. I had to retake many courses, and my transcript now looks very different from what I believe I am academically capable of.
My MCAT is in one month, and I see it as an opportunity to prove to myself that I am still the student I used to be (and of course get into medical school). I have very few commitments during this period and am prepared to devote almost all of my time to studying.
I would estimate that I already know around 80% of the content from previous coursework and independent reading, although I still need to review and consolidate it. I have access to the full UWorld question bank and all of the AAMC materials.
I took my first diagnostic exam before beginning any dedicated preparation and scored a 504.
What would be the best way to use this final month to achieve the highest score possible? Is aiming for a very high percentile unrealistic from this starting point?
