Singapore for New Year's

Thinking of travelling to Singapore for Christmas and New Year.

Have already been to Singapore twice before many years back and seen major attractions like merlion, Sentosa, Universal Studios, SEA aquarium, Zoo, Bird park etc

This time looking for a trip that's more connected to local experiences, exploring local food, experience the culture and have a slow travel.

Also would love to learn some singapore cooking too while there but the classes I could find online are too pricey.

Please (if you are a Singapore Local especially), help with itinerary suggestions, Advices etc
