"Premium" banking is literally just a marketing gimmick at this point
Earning mid 200s and my major bank still treats my basic investment property structuring like Im trying to launder money or something. Spent three weeks going back and forth with their so-called "executive" lending specialist who couldn't even comprehend a standard family trust setup. Its genuinely insulting how much they expect you to hold their hand through the paperwork while they drag their feet
Honestly time is way too scarce to deal with this level of corporate incompetence. Eventually just pulled the pin and threw all the trust deeds at shore financial to sort out the actual lending side coz I was physically losing my mind trying to explain basic tax minimization to a bank manager who clearly just reads off a script
Im just so tired of the friction tbh. the whole "relationship manager" model feels completely dead. Is anyone else finding that loyalty to a big 4 is just an active penalty on your time and sanity these days?
