Why doesn't Loki announce who he is copying?

Migrated from Overwatch and pretty new to Rivals, why the hell doesn't Loki announce who is he copying? His ult is already strong at least give us time to prepare for whoevers ultimate he is copying.

Why not have it function like Echo from overwatch who clearly announces who she duplicates? It's so stupid.

Anyone else really hate this design choice? Thanks for reading
