Water: The 8 glass per day rule
I often hear that everyone should drink exactly 8 glasses of water a day, so I looked into whether that's actually true.
From what I found, there isn't strong scientific evidence that everyone needs exactly 8 glasses daily. Water needs vary depending on factors like age, body size, climate, activity level, diet, and overall health.
Most health experts recommend drinking enough fluids to satisfy your thirst and keeping an eye on signs of dehydration, rather than aiming for a fixed number of glasses.
Verdict: Staying hydrated is important, but the "8 glasses a day" rule is more of a general guideline than a medical requirement.
If anyone has reliable sources that suggest otherwise, I'd be interested in reading them. Please share your opinions.
