Not-trash(don't need top-tier either) SATA SSDs in Current Year?
So when I built my current desktop I thought one 8tb Samsung 870 QVO would be plenty of storage for my Media drive given I had my OC and games on other separate drives, but after a few years I find myself having to do clearouts every few months to keep a few hundred gigs free. The two M.2 slots on my mobo are already filled with the aforementioned OS and Games drives so any additional capacity is going to have to be SATA, but I don't want to use HDDs(no point building a near-silent PC then adding a bunch of chuntering hard discs to it).
Is there any good info out there on affordable(with allowances for the current context) high capacity SATA SSDs, or failing that just some recommendations based on experience? They'll be for bulk storage of videos, music, PDFs, my STL library etc so I don't need supermegaultimate speed or whatever, but I do want something that will last and won't cack itself if I set up PLEX or whatever to stream to my TV eventually.
