How late you will get home after bts at gillette stadium
figured i would share some thoughts on what to expect for getting home after bts plays gillette stadium on august 6, 2026. honestly route 1 traffic after a sold out stadium show is absolute gridlock, so if you park in the main stadium lots across route 1, prepare to sit in your car for at least 1.5 to 2 hours just trying to exit onto the highway.
if you want to avoid getting trapped in the official lots until 1 am, check out prked to rent a driveway or private spot nearby from a local host. it is usually way cheaper, and since you are parked on someone's private property slightly down route 1, you can completely skip the worst of the stadium lot gridlock and make a much quicker getaway.
if you take the mbta commuter rail event train back to Boston or Providence, the train leaves 30 minutes after the show ends. with the concert wrapping around 11:00 pm, the train departs around 11:30 pm and gets back into south station around 12:30 am. rideshares like uber and lyft after the show are a complete nightmare with massive surge pricing and long wait times at the designated lot, so i definitely would not rely on those unless you stay late. if you drive and park offsite, expect to be home around midnight to 1:00 am depending on how far you live, but standard main lot parkers probably won't hit the highway until midnight. hope this helps!
