Too many nests, not enough toadflax?

I'm a sort of a late-mid game ironman. I've prioritised skilling over PvM so far, not really bossed beyond Barrows/Moons, level 90 slayer. I've sort of been in a mindset of "I want to get all skilling done that will soften my late game PvM grinds ie Zenyte jewellery, pool & a huge stockpile of runes/pots/food"

One of the things i feel like ive heard people mention is how hard it is to get birds nests, and that I'll be drowning in toadflax and fighting to get birds nests right into the late game. which is why i should be doing my birdhouse runs religiously.

Right now in my bank I have

• 200 Toadflax
• 35 Toadflax Seeds (350 Toadflax approx when grown)
• 1100 Birds Nests
• 4850 doses of Saradomin Brew (just over 1200 (4) dose pots)

I got 90-99 fletching at vale totems, I've got about 100kc at mole for the immaculate skin, done about 80-95 hunter on rumours, and have sort of half-assed birdhouse runs.

Why do I have so many more nests than i do toadflax? I've not dumped a bunch of it at MM, any seeds that i got from <90 slayer i kept and grew, i do my farming contracts reasonably regularly alongside herb runs.

Is it worth quitting on the birdhouse runs (i feel slightly inconvenienced by them) or will i regret it later when this somehow flips and i have 2k toadflax and no nests? (currently going 95-99 hunter with rumours on antelopes + herbiboar, so im not concerned about hunter xp, and ironically the master rewards are going to give me even more bloody nests!)
