Worried about pregnancy

40 female and I’m not currently on birth control. I’ve always had irregular periods.

Over the last 3-4 weeks my husband and I have been having a lot more sex. We always use condoms and he always withdraws before he ejaculates even though he’s wearing a condom.

During two of our sessions he experienced a dry orgasm and did not produce any semen. At first, we thought it escaped the condom somehow but we inspected the condom and did not see any tears or breaks. He even put water in it afterwards to check for leaks and there were none. I’m just anxious and curious if our methods are relatively safe to prevent pregnancy.
