Severe folks who sponge bath YOURSELF, what type of cloth do you use?
Please no input from mild or moderate folk, although I wish you well! I don't have the spoons to provide context you won't have or to deal with well-meaning but misguided attempts to help. I've already seen one unpleasant thread along those lines today.
I've tried microfibre cloth as it's fast-drying, but it leaves my skin sensitive and reactive. It's just a bit too rough and stripping.
Cotton face cloths and things are no good as they get sopping wet and I can't cross the room to hang them up somewhere else. And I can't have a sopping wet cloth mouldering next to me for a week or two until it dries. And I don't have a carer who can do this for me currently.
There's got to be a happy medium of some sort.
Please no interfering comments if you think cotton face cloths should dry faster by themselves. That's the climate I live in. We all have to play the hand we're dealt.
I searched the sub but didn't find an answer.
