Business Support Administrator (freelance role)
Hi, all!
I have a meeting later with a local kitchen/bathroom fitting business that would like me to become a Business Support Administrator for them, as a freelancer.
It will entail all manner of work, from streamlining and maintaining their office systems, customer enquiries, processing workflows, some social media, etc. It will be a few hours a week. Currently unsure if it will be a couple of whole days or a few hours across five days. It will be from my home office with the ability to go to the site whenever I want.
Either way, any advice as to what I should be setting as my rate? My current freelance work (which is very flexible, but I'm happy to lose some of it to do this other work) is approximately £25ph, so I suppose it needs to be at least that much.
This is my first experience of setting my own fee expectations, and I want to make sure I'm covered but that I'm not taking the mick.
Any and all advice would be appreciated!
