Is it bad that I don't know how to cook or walk to places by myself and not street smart at 16?

I don't know how to cook and I'm scared of using a stove because I fear I might make the stove explode I feel bad and guilty about having my parents cook for me my thumbs are too big to use a lighter

also I'm scared of getting killed by going out by myself jamaica is filled with so much crime right now I don't feel safe

I know my way around my neighborhood but if I try going out by myself I'll get lost

I also don't know how to drive

and can't learn how to since the car isn't in good condition right now

am I screwed?
