5 days trip during winter, where to land, Hobart or Launceston?

Hi everyone! :)

I’m going to have a trip to Tassie during winter (14-19 august), I’ll be visiting Melbourne first for 2 days. This is my first time visiting Tassie and I need your help as to whether I should land in Hobart or Launceston?

I’m looking for nature with beautiful scenery and wildlife (wombats, etc) mostly. I have Cradle Mountain on my journey list and I think Launceston is closer to it than Hobart. But Hobart have mount Wellington and I can’t seem to decide because i know it won’t be possible for me to visit them all in 5 days (and only 3 full traveling days). Do you have any suggestion? Is cradle mountain a must visit for a first timer like me? And do you have any must-see destination in Tassie? One more thing, does winter affect business hour? Thank you so much!! ❤️
