Is the Offsite Pickup Hack Real for Uber at Gillette Stadium?

figured i'd share my experience with this because ubering out of gillette stadium after a massive concert like bts is notoriously painful. if you try to order an uber directly from lot 15 right when the show ends, you will be stuck in hours of gridlock traffic, facing massive surge pricing, and waiting forever for a driver to even make it to you.

the offsite pickup hack is 100 percent real and pretty much essential if you want to get home before sunrise. instead of staying at the official rideshare lot, you walk 15 to 20 minutes away from the stadium grounds along route 1 before requesting your ride. walking north toward the mcdonalds on north street or south toward local business plazas gets you outside the immediate traffic bubble. drivers are much more willing to accept rides there, and you avoid the crazy venue bottleneck.

if you want to avoid rideshare stress altogether, another clutch move is using prked to rent a private driveway or garage spot from a local nearby. it is way cheaper, convenient, and lets you skip the parking lot exit lines entirely since you are parked on private property down the road.

if you do stick with uber, just bring comfortable walking shoes, stay safe along the side of route 1, and do not request the ride until you are physically at your offsite spot. hope this helps!
