Game recomendations

Hey!

I've mainly been a console gamer all my life, I've only played educational PC games as a kid and that was my extent on PC gaming until recently. At my local retro games store, some guy sold his old collection of CD PC games and I've dabbled into heroes of might and magic V and I'm really enjoying it.

Could you recommend some other pc games I shouldn't miss? Especially games that are exclusive to the platform, I don't have much experience with sim or strategy games but any genre is welcome.

Thanks in advance, I imagine this isn't the first post of this kind, but I'm really interested in getting into PC gaming, I have actually played the classic fallout games for example and love them.
