Shall I include additional proof of funds as well ?

I have an education loan and university funding that covers my entire tuition fee and living expenses. Do I need to show additional proof of funds as well? I am thinking of adding my father's GPF statement to show it as additional proof of funds for emergencies or exchange rate fluctuations. Would this complicate my file?
