I want my hair to look “heavier”?

Hello! This might be a really dumb question. My hair is wavy, very thick and very dense, I always have the trouble of it frizzing and basically creating an ugly ball of mess on the back and top of my head.

I want my hair to look “wet” or “heavier” but also don’t want to make it crunchy like with gel or wax. I don’t like having my hair bounce and stuff.

If you have any hair products or ways of treating my hair differently I would really really appreciate it!
