Are y'all really distracted by noise / things moving while playing ?
When i was around 15yo, i played with my father respecting all types of etiquette. Don't move, don't make noise, stop breathing while other players are about to hit their shot.
It came to a point where even if everyone respected my swing time, the wind that move a leave on the floor would distract me. Came in a lot of waggle time, "is my back correctly set up", "oh i have a really small rock under my foot, i will miss my shot".
A lot of thoughts that would make me miss a lot of opportunities.
I lost a lot of competitions only because of myself, while i was trying to put the blame on players I played with that didn't respect.
Now i'm clearly less competitive, I play for pleasure, and i like when we just speak with my dad, even just before i hit my shot. I'm no more disturbed by noise, things that are moving, i play that sport like any sport and while i was stuck for years, i'm now improving a lot my scores while playing at least 5-6 times less.
My question is : are you all obsessed as i was or some people succeeded to just don't care about that, and noticed they improved also ?
