Alternatives to Saucony Endorphin Speed 4?
I have an upcoming race and was hoping to find another pair of ES4 since mine are worn out, but if I order them now I wouldn't get them in time, because at this point they're only available on a few niche online stores. These were perfect because they're snappy enough while being noticeably cushioned, but they also gently hug the roof of my feet even if I tied them snugly.
Not at all like my other tempo shoes - Adidas Adizero Boston 12 - which feel as though my feet are being strangled with an indestructible piece of carboard. At times they also felt like I was slamming my heel on concrete, the cushioning was not comparable to ES4 AT ALL.
Endorphin Sped 5 are easy to find but I just can't stand how firm they are on the above part of my foot, especially the toes, which I like to be able to wiggle around a little bit.
To summarize, I would greatly appreciate if you could recommend me a pair of running shoes which are:
- snappy enough for race day;
- cushioned;
- soft on the dorsum;
- still available for purchase.
Thanks in advance!
