Is 66% 2:1 alright for applications to MC/US firms?

I know that it’s highly unlikely to get into US firms especially, but thought I'd shoot my shot.

I did pretty average first semester and got 58% in one of my modules and a low 2:1 in my others, but really busted my ass off in the 2nd after going to therapy and got 79% in one module (worth 20 credits!) and 65-68% in some others, which has dragged my average up to 66%. After doing the calculations, my 1st-year grade is a 66%.

Is this at all competitive? Do I have a chance with VAC schemes and such? What can I do in between now and when they open to brush up on my applications? I’m kinda lacking experience but really wanna transfer to Law.
