Help a boomer find a viable build for FoA

Hello there!

Every now and then I come back to Grim Dawn. So far I always played pet builds because I enjoy those the most. But I wanna break the cycle and try something different but I have absolutely no idea about ANYTHING in this game unless it has an army of things that does everything for me.

So what I am looking for is rather a quite simple build. I dislike builds where I have to use the whole skillbar bar or have to activate 3-5 buffs every 5 seconds. I prefer when it's a build where I can constantly attack (reason why I dislike d4 because its always 60 seconds cooldown until button press) with things.

I would prefer something ranged because my reaction time has gone down in the last decades and I need to be able to run away or if close I need to be tanky af.

I am open to pretty much everything, I just wanna have some fun, not artifical stress by playing something that makes the game harder or stuff.
