For anyone who hasn't come across it before — it's Sencha's annual JavaScript conference. This year's program runs September 16–17, 2026, and the session lineup covers a lot of ground that's relevant if you're working on production JavaScript applications, AI integration, or enterprise-scale development.

Here's what's on the agenda.

# Day 1 — September 16

Opening keynote from James Cahill, General Manager at Sencha, covering where the JavaScript ecosystem is heading and what teams should be paying attention to in the year ahead.

**Building Custom AI Agents with JavaScript, React and ReExt**
Speaker: Marc Gusmano, Sales Engineer, Sencha

Practical implementation patterns for building AI agents using JavaScript, React, and ReExt. Focuses on architectural considerations and integration approaches for moving AI features from experimentation into production — not theoretical examples.

**Generating Live Ext JS Apps on Top of Existing Databases With Indi Engine AI**
Speaker: Pavel Perminov, Solo Founder & Developer, Indi Engine AI

Demonstrates how AI can generate live Ext JS applications directly from existing databases. Relevant for teams looking to modernize data-driven interfaces without rebuilding from scratch.

**Ext JS Dashboards for Supply Chain and Fleet Management**
Speaker: Wemerson Januario, Developer Advocate, Sencha

Walks through how Ext JS dashboards handle the specific data complexity of supply chain and fleet management applications. Real-world use cases, not generic UI patterns.

# Day 2 — September 17

**Case Study: Developing a Recruitment Application**
Speaker: César Martell, Software Developer

Detailed walkthrough of a real recruitment application — the technical decisions made throughout the development lifecycle and the lessons learned along the way. Production case studies tend to cover the things documentation doesn't.

**Build an AI-Driven Grading Logic with the JavaScript DataGrid**
Speaker: Andres Villalba, Sales Engineer, Sencha

How AI-driven grading logic can be integrated directly with the JavaScript DataGrid. Practical look at combining intelligent data processing with enterprise-grade grid functionality.

**Techniques for Large Data Handling in Ext JS**
Speaker: Rafael Méndez, Sencha MVP

Practical techniques for managing large datasets efficiently in Ext JS applications. Performance strategies and architectural patterns for applications that need to stay responsive under real production load.

**Making AI Analytics Safe and Simple for Enterprise JavaScript Developers**
Speakers: Stephen Ball & Montana Mendy, Yellowfin

Closing session on making AI analytics accessible and governable for enterprise teams — the practical challenges of deploying intelligent analytics where data integrity and compliance are non-negotiable.

Other things worth knowing — sessions run on separate tracks every hour, Day 2 includes interactive discussion rooms alongside the structured sessions, and the whole thing is aimed at developers working on production applications rather than beginners looking for introductory content.

Disclosure: I work at Sencha. Sharing because the full agenda this year — particularly the AI sessions and the production case study — looks genuinely relevant for JavaScript developers dealing with real integration challenges.
