Update 42.2 is now live

Here are the main things you need to know about the update:

• Map Service
• New Graphics Options:
  • Resolution Priority option prioritizes image sharpness and graphical detail while maintaining stable performance at up to 60 FPS
  • Framerate Priority option prioritizes smoother visuals and more responsive controls, supporting up to 120 FPS
• Basic Training:
  • A step-by-step Basic Training has been added for beginners
  • Beginner Training missions have been added
• Taego Updates:
  • Go Dok area has been restructured
  • Secret Room item spawns have been changed
• Rondo Updates:
  • The map has been reworked with new roads, ridgeline adjustments, building adjustments, and more
  • Secret Room item spawns have been changed
• UI/UX Updates:
  • New Map, Match Log and Missions tabs have been added to the World Map
  • Message Radial has been reworked
  • Placing a regular marker now notifies teammates via a radio message
• Arcade Updates:
  • Hot Drop mode is back (available July 23 - August 6)
  • Solo Deathmatch mode has been added (available August 6-19)
  • Erangel's Hall of Fame has been updated to celebrate FULL SENSE's PUBG Global Championship 2025 victory
  • Combat and Sanhok map performance optimizations
  • Improved page navigation speed for certain lobby menu pages
