read about sisyphus today and it got me thinking about how we cope with life

 Thoughts & Ideas

I was reading about the myth of Sisyphus today. You know, the guy who was sentenced to push a boulder up a mountain for eternity. For context if anyone doesn’t know, he was a king who tried to trick the gods and escape death, so as a punishment he was forced to push this giant rock up, only for it to roll back down right at the top every single time. Honestly, it just made me think a lot.

If someone scrolls through my profile, they might think my posts are a bit too negative or dramatic, but to me it’s just reality. We all have moments when everything feels heavy.
I always try to work on myself because at the end of the day, no one can be a better psychologist for you than you. Other people's words help of course, and whenever I see someone needing support, I try to encourage them and give them motivation. Sometimes a single word from you can change someone's life. But self talk is still everything.

Of course there are always gonna be a few haters who only look for the negative in themselves, in life, or in a simple post. But I actually love seeing how different people think. Even critical comments or completely opposite views make me reflect deeply.
I have my own perspective, but I don't want my posts to just be a monologue. I genuinely want to know how are you guys feeling in today’s world? How do you keep going and stay human when life feels like just dragging this rock?
Because honestly, I’m convinced that every single one of us has our own rock to carry. Life would be unimaginable without it, and without that struggle, the variety of life would just turn into boring monotony.
