I only seem to be able to score from counter attacks

Hi guys i recently switched to Legendary dificulty and have trouble breaking down defences.

I can manage to keep possesion, press opponent, defend (most of the time) score form counters, but i cannot , ehatever i do score when the oponent is defending low. Everytime a striker gets the ball with defender on his back, he gets dispossesed after turning.

What do you guys do to break down defences?
